So my wife and I are just starting to get into glass and we've ordered our first few toys. I know that each piece of glass is unique and there can be tiny imperfections, but I know we're supposed to check our glass prior to each use to make sure there are no chips/cracks.
So our newest glass toy arrived on Thursday and we took it away with us for our anniversary weekend and pulled it out. As I was wiping it off and examining it I noticed near the base there were some imperfections in the glass. They aren't craps or chips, but it looks like grooves inside the glass. It is not on the surface at all, but it shows up in 2 or 3 places. My question is this; am I okay to use this for the wife (we didn't because I didn't want to take the chance that something could hurt her) or should I send this back to EF and get a replacement?
I'm going to try and take a picture tonight once I get home so that it's easy for everyone to see, I know my description isn't the best, but any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks.
