Ever had a glass toy cut you?

Contributor: xcapricax xcapricax
I'm wanting to try glass toys but I'm afraid its going to break and cut me to pieces. I watched the one guy one cup video and I think that's where my fear came from. I know they are stronger then a glass jar but its still a fear. Has anyone here had any bad experiences with them?

Are they no longer going to be carried by Eden Fantasys? I'm loving the 70% off sale, but am worried that they're no longer going to be carried once.

Glass dildos are made of borosilicate glass, which is incredibly strong. Ever used Pyrex bakeware? It's the same thing. My Pyrex measuring cup will bounce on my kitchen floor and not even shatter. If borosilicate glass did break, it'd break into large chunks, not splinters and shards. I've never ever heard of one breaking in use or with appropriate care. Under extreme conditions, like dropping them 10 feet onto concrete, they may break. I've had mine tumble down concrete steps and not even have a scratch on them. Just be sure to check them for scratches or chips before use and they're perfectly safe.

No. There's more of a chance of being cut up with a cheap plastic vibe.

No, I wouldn't worry. Some people seem to have irrational fears about glass.

Glass Safety Test #1

Glass Safety Test #2

I am not super gentle with any of my glass toys, I've dropped them in the sink and on the floor multiple times. They all still look brand new!

You'll be fine, and enjoy your purchase!
