Hey! I was just wondering if Ella would be something an absolute beginner could use, someone who's never gone looking for her g-spot before. She seems awfully tempting, but I wonder if I it's too advanced a toy for me?

Ella is perfect for beginners. I had tried several other G-spot toys before Ella. Ella was the first one that worked for me. Several people have had their first successes with Ella.

I just ordered the Ella in Black today! She is my very first g-spot toy, and double ended non-vibrating dildo. She will definitely be breaking a lot of my cherries! ha! Can't wait!!!!

Hey Beth! I think Ella is a perfect intro-to-G toy, it's really as simple as inserting the toy, disk-side kinda up facing your pubic bone, and Ella really does know right where to hit. If you've not explored you G-spot, there is a slight chance that you might have a (totally normal!) anatomical variation in that your G-spot might be in a slightly different place, but again that's rare and certainly worth maneuvering the toy to find just what works for you!! The traditional end is great for G-spot stimulation, too, because it's raise so that it rubs against the anterior abdominal wall. Ella's a great toy, if you do get one, she's absolutely worth playing with. A plus that I found, was that since she is on the narrow side, insertion is easy So even for a beginner, she is a great intro to G-spot.

I think it is an excellent choice!

My wife wishes this would vibrate

Then your wife would like Gigi. Same shape but with vibrations. It's awesome. I usually don't like the vibrations in Lelo toys, but Gigi's shape alone is a win and the vibrations just add to that.

Ella is a fantastic beginner dildo - I was my first, and it helped me find my G-spot. I still use it very often. It is also super high quality, you'll have it forever.

I agree that the Ella would be great for a beginner. It was my first dildo and I love it. I've had mine for three years and used it a lot, and it still looks brand new.

I do think Ella is a good size for a beginner. However, I find that rounded heads allow for smoother entry and more glide. I'd recommend a Pure Wand as the g-spot gold standard, and the smaller end is perfect for a beginner. Otherwise, I'd suggest the Vixen Woody (or a similar toy in Vixskin)or perhaps the Sedeux Skyn, Tantus Curve or Acute. In fact, I think Acute might be my top choice for a beginner. My hangups with Ella are the length, I wish there was more handle, and the matte texture. It can drag a bit without enough lube. The above mentioned toys don't do that. It's not that Ella isn't a quality toy, but I'd take the others over it, personally.

Ella is pretty small but not tiny, so you might want to warm up with some fingers and use a fair bit of lube if you're an absolute beginner to penetration.
