In my experience, I've noticed that my elastomer toys smell like permanent marker, even after they're cleaned prior to first use, so those have gone in the back of my toy box sot to speak, forgotten and never used. Is it just me or do they all smell like that, no matter if one gets a toy from Vibratex or Fun Factory?

I thought maybe I keep getting defective toys or something, because they stink so badly.
Thoughts?
