Dropping a glass dildo by accident

Contributor: Arlinnae Arlinnae
Did anyone drop their glass toys by accident? And I do not mean from the bed of a few inches. From high, like the desk or the countertop. I am just curious how well the toys could withstand it.
Any experience?

Captivating topic discussions on Glass dildo:

Steel Malone Dilettos
Came across this site link and I'm now lusting after one of these beauties. I wanted to share with all of you glass lovers out there! Will Eden carry...

Wood, glass, jelly...which one's for you?
wood, glass, jelly whats your thing?

First glass/ metal dildo?
I want to invest in a nice glass or metal dildo. I have had others but nothing of good quality or of a 'natural' material. Glass appeals to me, as...

Glass.
Is it easy to use glass dildos with lube?

Could an expensive glass piece ever be worth it?
I was drawn to this in particular: link I love glass, but I don't know if I'd ever feel ok spending that much on an insertion-only toy. What do you..

I had one fall off the top of my dresser the other day. It's a little over 4 ft. Nothing happened to it at all. This was a Phallix glass toy.

I've had mine roll off of the bed before. But since my bed is like 2.5 feet off of the ground, and my bedroom floor is carpeted, nothing happened.
If you do drop one of your toys, you should be very careful about examining it for even the smallest of cracks. The last thing you want it for it to break all of the way while it's in you! That can be extremely serious and lead to a very strange ER trip...

I have dropped them in the sink when I have been cleaning them with no issues but thank goodness I have never dropped them on my tile floor.

On accident I have dropped a few in the sink while washing, one time I dropped one of my Njoy toys and it landed on a glass piece. Luckly none of them have broke.

I did put together a couple of video's showing the strength of Pyrex, you can find the video's on EdenTube here- Glass safety test #1 and
Borodsilicate glass test #2

There is two threads I started to go along with the videos, for some reason the video's don't always show up (thus the direct links to EdenTube) but you can follow the discussion if you like.

If they fall on carpeting, you're likely safe. But a cement or tile floor might do one in, as will dropping it against the edge of the bathtub. Always regularly inspect glass toys in case they were dropped without your knowledge, but if you're careful breaks are rare.

I have several glass toys. I heat them up together and by accident dropped on another and it chipped. It was still usable with care.
I have dropped them in the [fiberglass]shower from 3 feet without a problem.

Hope this helps. I have a closet full of toys and have switched to glass and metal/
