Double ended dildo design

Contributor: Kindred Kindred
I've been reading most of the reviews of the double ended dildos for pegging. A common problem with all of them seems to be that they are difficult to use without a harness. I was wondering, do you think it would work better if the shorter bulb end (the one typically inserted in the vagina) had an inflatable component to it? I would think this would create a tighter and more custom fit, but I'm not sure if that would take away from her sensations or if that is really the problem at all. I was inspired after reading a review for Deluxe wonder plug. What do you think? Would it work?

You can't put anything inflatable with air into the vagina!

It's really different than the anus, where some people can take inflatable toys. The vagina is VERY vascular, and air in the vagina can cause an air embolism and cause a heart attack, a stroke or other problems.

Yeah, it might make the bulb stay in better. But, there's a reason why the inflatable toys say "Not for Vaginal Use." Why? They could cause death.

Really. Probably the reason they don't sell water inflatable toys for the vagina is that people might get lazy and just fill them with air.

It seems like a good idea, but actually is medically dangerous. Sorry about that.

I never heard about that.... and I have an inflatable dog dick toy, too.

Of course they say not to go over so many pumps, but just enough air to make it more difficult to be pulled out. Any air that comes out, too, comes out the bottom which cannot be inserted.

Huh. Any articles to read more about that?

I've never heard that before. Thanks for the information.

However, it seems like that's something that could be designed around. For example, a self-contained dildo with a liquid chamber that you pump into the bulb after it's inserted. It just seems there are any number of ways to improve on the double dildo design to make it more functional. I love the idea of no harness pegging, but it doesn't seem realistic/satisfying with their current design.

I've actually not heard of this before; thanks for sharing this knowledge! Peeking around the internets, it looks like it would only be dangerous if the inflatable bulb bursts inside the vagina, releasing a significant amount of air into the vagina? I know I'd be too paranoid to try it, even if it was a super tiny chance. Because, heck, I can have fun WITHOUT risking death.

Then again, I'm a wimp

I'm not sure how much it would help, either. The inflatable toys work anally because of the strong anal muscles that generally don't easily open up as wide as the rectum. Vaginally you don't have those muscles, so you're back to using the PC muscles to hold it in.

The best solution is to use a harness, at least temporarily until you can do some PC bodybuilding. Even then it's hard to not let go during orgasm.
