Both of these seem fairly similarly designed. Anybody have both and can comment on both? If you have just one you can comment to though.

The bent graduate looks like it has a more pronounced hook to it than the amethyst. I would love them both!

Hi Brian, I actually mentioned the main difference between the two dildos in my review of the Amethyst, look up the Personal comments section.

Venus is also right about the Bent Graduate having a more pronounced hook.

Not many people are going to have Amethyst yet. Its so new.
I would also consider the inked probe. It has a bigger head (4 3/4" circum.) than the Amethyst or the Bent Graduate and still is more curved than most glass G-spot toys.
The Bent Graduate is good, but every time I use it I wish its head were bigger.

I just did a 1:1 comparison between my Bent Graduate and the Amethyst from SSA Glass, and it is a tad different. The BG has a neck that's more bent, and less gradual, and the BG is just a little longer in both ends. The bubbles/bloops on the BG look less smooshed than what the Amethyst has.
I think the Amethyst is more like the other version... G-Spot Pink.

There's also the G-spot Pink which is very similar as well. I went with the Amethyst since it's the cheapest one and I like purple better than pink.

Hmm I would of included that too if I knew that one existed. That one is definitely more expensive though. I agree they're both pretty similar so you figure save the money. I normally would agree with you about purple being nicer but I just reviewed this pink glass toy and was really surprised at how nice the pink color on it was. I normally don't like pink very much.

I have the Amethyst, and I'm sitting here with it in my hand now, with both product pages open. When I use the "view actual size" feature, and hold the toy up to the screen, it matches the Bent Graduate almost perfectly, and fails to line up with its own image.
And yes, I'm using the "view actual size" feature correctly. My credit card lines up perfectly, and I've grabbed a few random toys to use as a control group, all of which line up perfectly, including other toys from SSA Glass.
The Amethyst has just as much of a pronounced hook shape as the Bent Graduate pictured on the website. And I'm definitely not complaining.
