I've never used glass before but it seems like it would get too slippery to hold. DO you have ways around this or is it not a problem?

Most glass toys aren't actually dangerous or breakable, right?
I was just wondering. A lot of things tend to come slightly damaged or otherwise unworkable, but that seems like a lot bigger of a deal if it's glass.

No, if you go easy on the lubricant if you use any. Keep a wipe near if you'd think it may be an issue

I like ones with a loop for a handle, like the Icicles 37, as it eliminates this problem.

Depends a lot on the type and amount of lubricant you use (and maybe on how sweaty your hands get). Accidentally getting some silicone lube on the handle might make it really hard to hold, for example. If you're careful about it, there shouldn't be a problem.

I've never had an issue with that. I'm actually really fond of glass toys because they stay lubricated so well.

I haven't really had a problem with that yet. I do keep something on hand to wipe if off with just in case and I am also very careful of the amount of lube being used.

I haven't had any issues with this either, even when I'm using lube. Just keep a towel handy to wipe off any excess if you think it will be an issue.

No, you just don't use as much lube with it. I actually don't even use any most of the time, and vaginally it glides in just fine (since there is no friction)!

I only have one glass toy, but I just try not to get lube on the handle.

Not with me, because I don't get the completely smooth and straight ones...THAT probably would be too slick!

I guess what you're all saying is the motto "don't forget to bring a towel" is your best guide with slippery toys!

Love glass toys! Even if you need lube, with glass a little suffices. It may be that eventually the grip could get slick--but just take a moment to wipe it off.
