I found a silicone double-ended dildo that I carelessly left laying around in ziploc bag. I forgot to clean it, and its been months. Can I pop it in my dishwasher or do have to take special instructions for cleaning it. Its still safe to use again, right?

As far as I know, if it has a motor, you probably should not put it in the dish washer, so assuming this "dildo" is motorless, it does sound safe since it's also silicone. I don't know. I'm thinking it's safe though unless I am forgetting something. How bad of shape is it in? I mean, as long as you can boil it, I'd think it to be safe afterwards. Can't be much different than my silicone kegel ball harness (the little piece that holds the two balls in together with each other) which I have to re-use daily and have been for months, so I boil it every so often to rid it of any accumulated bacteria.

What about a 10% bleach solution. If it's been lying dirty for months then I'd want some more reassurance than just a dishwasher. I'd be boiling that son of a bitch!

Yeah, I would go for a bleach solution and boiling if it is pure silicone. Can never be too sure!
