Dildo is just the shaft. Dong has testicles (I think)

"Dong" is usually used for cheaper, grosser toys, in my experience. A double-ended cherry-scented jelly toy, I'd probably refer to as a "dong," whereas something by Tantus or Vixen is a dildo.

I've yet to read anything one way or the other on it. I really don't like the word "dong"; it makes me think of 70's porn with mustaches and blondes with big hair.

My thoughts:

Dong - a realistic dildo made from jelly, PVC, or rubber.
Dildo - any non-vibrating thing, generally phallic shaped, you put in a hole.
