Yes you can do this, but keep in mind that the toy should have a flared base in order to be safe for anal use. Generally speaking I used to love the Temptress' G-spot (my review here) and that was quite good. However I'd recommend to invest some money into a proper toy like the Billy.

Carefully. Make sure you have a firm grip on it and make sure you're careful inserting it. If this is a first anal toy I'd recommend something made of silicone with a base instead.
