I was always fascinated by the colors that appeared to be shimmering from the dichroic bands in the glass toys from Phallix. I especially admire those with the cobalt blue glass, but there are not many dichroic dildos available in cobalt blue. It's a shame, they are really beautiful.
And I had also noticed that Phallix have a special type of dichroic glass with small butterflies or stars within the dichroic. But they are really hard to see.
And I wondered if I was alone in thinking that a butterfly/starlight dichroic cobalt dildo would be amazing.
I also left a comment on the Phallix website asking if they had ever considered doing that. I would really be interested.
Any thoughts?

What version of the dichroic glass toys do you like or would like to have?

I am asking a question from an artistic point of view. We can most probably agree that the top manufacturers of glass toys like Phallix and XHale Glass create beautiful masterpieces. I was looking at the dichroic line of product from Phallix and wondered about the possibility of mixing some of their attribute to make the ultimate -at least for me- Cobalt blue butterfly dichroic glass g-spot dildo. And I wondered if that opinion was shared or if you prefer the dichroic products exactly as they are now.

We have two dichro-wrapped wands - one 1" and one 1.25" diameter - and a couple more of a similar design. We don't use any of them anymore because there is nothing to hold onto. We now have a couple of this design with a handle.
The handle makes it possible for me to keep the curve in contact with her g-spot. Without the handle the glass would rotate out of position and it was a nuisance to get it repositioned. Unfortunately EF doesn't have a great selection of these toys with handles - but they are out there if you look.

Yes, I had noticed that you had commented on them. And you made me consider buying one with a handle rather than just the dildo. It was an excellent suggestion. I will probably wait until next Christmas before buying a dichroic model, since I am buying a double headed glass one for my birthday/Valentine's Day.

is there a lot of difference in sensation between a "wrapped" and a "Studded" dildo?

You could have started a new post to get more answers, especially since I have only some experience with ribbed/wrapped toys. I'm actually buying a double dildo that comes with a wrapped and a nubbed side so that I will know for sure, the Golden Curved Love Wand.

In theory, nubs must provide a more subtle sensation during thrusting, but they are generally not as liked as the wrappings. I'm always quite sold to the feel of ribs or wraps, since they are wonderful during thrusts. In any case, both textures must be also bring interesting sensations when the toy is rotated. It depends what you like and how sensitive to texture you are.

Well guys, I changed my mind about the butterfly one, I change my vote to the clear spiral one.
And even if it does not have a handle, I will try to install a silicone ring like the 8ight to act as a stopper and grip. I will let you know if it works.

Wow, the cobalt dichro is so gorgeous. I'd use that in a heartbeat, plus store it on my mantle. If I had a mantle...and didn't have a toddler...

I've been drooling over the cobalt one for awhile now. It's so pretty! Honestly, I don't know how I would prefer it because I am too fascinated by the pretty colors.
