Anyone else feel they're not so compatible with glass?

I recently got the ribbed twister as my first glass piece & ended up disappointed.
Not about the toy itself, but my reactions to glass.

I found I definitely like materials with more give & drag, and I'm sure I also prefer vibrations more as well.

I tend to be a "clencher" as well, and I just didn't find glass comfortable for that aspect at all. Every time I clenched down it seemed to be more unpleasant due to no give, and esp. with the bulbous head most glass pieces have.

I'm the same.
I find it hard to find a glass toy that fits well with my anatomy - otherwise it's simply uncomfortable.
I hate straight glass toys - unless it's for anal. But even then, I much prefer a dildo with some give!

The one glass dildo that works for me is the Icicles 16. But ya still have to be careful.

Toys with give are the winners for me!

For vaginal use I think I prefer squishy materials. My only glass toy is really heavily textured, and I think it's the unforgiving texture that I'm iffy about; I might be ok with a smoother hard toy instead. I love my Pure Plug (metal), but it's for anal, not vaginal. Kinda scared of trying the nubby glass one back there

It's interesting how we all have different preferences.

I had a feeling glass wouldn't be the thing for me, but I simply had to test that theory out. Can't wait to get my first silicone toy even more now, and I still don't regret the purchase of the beautiful ribbed twister. Even though it's not for me physically, glass is such beautiful art.
