As for the life-casts... I'm on the fence there. I know people have been touching unaware animals for ages for breeding and medical purposes which kind of squicks me but it happens and it's not going to stop happening, so why should I be up in arms about molds being made? I would just prefer not to think about it. And if a person wants a life-cast toy, good for them; at least they're not doing illegal things with animals.

You can not be arrested for lying in most cases (perjury being an exception), you can not be arrested for cheating on a significant other, both of those are things that I will pass some form of judgement on someone for doing. They are, in my opinion, morally wrong. Making life casts is also wrong, at least according to me.
I equate it to making a life cast fo someone who is passed out. They aren't able to consent to what is happening. less

Lying and cheating might be morally wrong, and I wouldn't condone either, but if it doesn't involve me directly I don't see how it's fair of me to judge. Have you ever had any exposure to animals other than small domestics, other than what you see on National Geographic? Would you object if I took a cast of the animal's hoof/paw? Probably not. The animal really has no awareness of whether you cast its hoof, tail, or genitalia really!

This very common process uses an artificial vagina and a live mare that is behind a protective wall. The stallion is led to the mare, is aroused and when he starts to mount, the breeders manipulate its penis into the AV for semen collection. Is this mean, morally wrong, or part of the breeding process? The stallion is actually on vacation, living this way...

Honestly, I don't give a hoot about the casting process as far as morals are concerned. If you want to talk about morals, look around at the other threads on this site and bring them up there (I dare you). The question posted earlier was about the legality of the product, and since a real animal not involved with direct sexual contact, this is perfectly legal product- as much as human-casted dildos are.

When I visit this site it is for the porpoise of fun and relaxation, and you know, to monkey around. Didn't mean for people to have a cow over the question posed. I must sheepishly say that the lions share of the responses goes to those who may actually be interested in animal-like dildos. What gets my goat is that others may just be too chicken to try them out, or to bison thing new.

I know that in certain communities and fetish groups, they're very popular. I think they're really cool looking and since many of them are made on an individual basis to color specs, etc., they really are like works of art. The shapes don't appeal to me personally but I don't see anything wrong with me for those that would enjoy them. less
