Ack! They're both jelly. For safety's sake, I prefer to stick to silicone for most of my anal needs... Have you considered some of the options here at EdenFantasys? There are several that offer the same type of remote control as the ones you're looking at.

Jelly cannot be sterilized, and will harbor bacteria.

Silicone can be easily sterilized by boiling for 3 minutes.

Jelly can also leach unknown and potentially hazardous chemicals. I know-many manufacturers say "phthalates-free" now, but they also don't say what chemicals are in them and the "for novelty use only, not for internal use" warning does not inspire confidence.

Get silicone. It's a bit more expensive, but you'll never regret it.
