Scared - bleeding

Contributor: MaouMew MaouMew
I used link for the second time, and I don't think I used enough lube... I pumped it up a few times, finished my session, etc... Pulled it out and cleaned up, and noticed some bright red blood... Not a lot, but mixed with the lube it was enough to scare me.
When I was in the bathroom, I saw a small amount in the toilet bowl, and a bit more when I wiped... I stuck a finger in to try to find it, and it was tender RIGHT inside on the inside edge of my anus, when I pulled it out there were some specks of blood but not too much... Did it again a bit later, less blood but it was still there.

Should I be worried? I don't have insurance and I'm not doing well financially, so an unneeded hospital visit will bankrupt me.

Edit: an hour and a half later, or there about, I went to the bathroom again... I had some lube come out, and it had a super light pink hue, with a small bit of normal colored red blood, like two tiny bits - stringy kind of...

I have had a tiny bit of blood after anal play, but only once, and healed within a day. Well from what you tell me, you are not bleeding much and appear to have ignored the pain that your body was sending you to say, 'I am not ready for this'. Stop playing with it will help. But I do not think you should be worrying if there are clear signs of improvement. This but a scratch. (Pun totally intended.)

Just make sure to really use a lot of lube, but this particular toy is an expanding butt plug, and is not for the anal beginner, but I assume you are not. Try pumping much smaller volume of air with each pumps to make sure that you are adjusting comfortably and that your anus is doing ok with the size.

It's probably just an anal fissure (a little crack in the skin) and not much to worry about. You'll want to take it easy until it heals, so no anal play for a bit. If it itches while it's healing you can use a zinc oxide ointment (should be in the first aid section of your pharmacy, though that won't do much for irritation, just speed up healing) or Anusol (that has an anesthetic and is probably with the stomach and butt meds). Both will be slightly greasy, but that could be a good thing if bowel movements are painful right now.

I agree with what's been said so far, it's not a serious problem unless you continue to see larger amounts of blood OR you see really dark or black blood (which would indicate an internal problem unrelated to toy use). It's fairly common in anal play, to see a little blood. It could be a fissure or it could be a hemorrhoid.

Don't worry. Wait one or two weeks before playing again, and make sure you're getting enough fiber and water in those two weeks so everything can heal.

When you start up again use more lube and take it slow.
