Pure Plugs, What Size?

I've never really had any anal toys before, though I've messed around once or twice. I really want to get the nJoy Pure Plugs, but I'm not sure what size to go for. I know beginners should usually start with 'small', but I'm worried they'll be too small for me. I'm thinking about grabbing the 'medium' plugs to start with. Any thoughts?

I would maybe try something less expensive to start out with.

A. You might not like anal play (it's not for everyone).

B. You might "outgrow" the small toys in a very short time.

Maybe look at one of the anal starter kits?

Just my 2 cents.

I always suggest the Fun Factory Bootie to beginners, or the new Tantus Neo. They'll last forever and are high quality. Then, once you know how you feel about plugs, maybe you can start with the Medium Pure Plug.

I think your inclination is probably right. 1" diameter isn't much, and if you end up buying it and realising it's not big enough to feel satisfying then it's quite an expensive mistake.

The Medium would probably be suitable, even at your level of (in)experience.

I agree with Incendiaire on getting the medium instead of a small Pure plug. Just remember to warm up with lots of lube and finger play first, and you'll be fine.

This isn't a bad suggestion because as you said, you have only done it a few times. You don't know how much you like anal play. I'd suggest picking up Anal starter kit. Then move on to a metal plug.

I would try to find a Beginners set that has different sizes that is what we did before we started investing in more expensive toys.

IMO, even a beginner should be able to use the medium size with no problems, as long as they warm up with fingers first. 1 1/4" really isn't that big, but it's big enough that you won't grow out of it instantly.

I found the PP small next to worthless. Moved up to the medium - it stays in OK but no meaningful sensations from having it in.

I stopped there thinking the larger wouldn't do me much good. At the recommendation of Amethystsmoke I've put the Pure Plug 2.0 on my wish list - when I get the courage to try it out!

Thanks you guys for all of the helpful suggestions. I think I'm going to save up for the medium plug. It's the one I kind of gravitated to to begin with, and I really think it'll be the right size for me.
I feel like worst case scenario, if it's a little too big, I'll just have to work up to it.
Thanks!

I started with the medium and I was happy that I skipped the small. I want to get the large someday as well, but would still use the medium on certain occasions. Because of the weight these toys do feel larger than comparable toys of softer materials.

the silicone plugs are more forgiving and you might have a better start with one of those
