Basically you want to start out with something small, like fingers and a good lube. Go slow and only do what feels comfortable. It will take some time to work up to your boyfriend so don't rush things. Above all, if it hurts or you feel discomfort, STOP. Pain is the body's way of saying somethings not right. anal play should not hurt
Good luck and enjoy.

Begin with something much smaller than a penis! His fingers are good, but there also are some very thin plugs that Eden offers. The main idea is to get used to the sensation of having something up there.

After that, you can slowly work your way up. From his little finger to a lager one or from a smaller toy to a larger toy. You should only use toys with flared bases, also.
Just some advice, gloves and condoms are useful, especially because I've heard that sometimes back door play can get messy. Also, use TONS of lube! And if it hurts at any point, stop what you're going. Pain is your bodies way of telling you not to do that right then!
Have fun!

While anal should not hurt, Don't give up if you happen to feel a little hurt. Take a break, try to relax more and give it a go again. Too many quit for life just because they feel the "throbbing pain" that happens when they are not fully relaxed when penetrated..... and that makes me a saaaad panda.

Sometimes positioning can make all the difference, too! If it hurts in one position, try another. Anal really can be fun! (A bit messy, but fun!)
