Advice on prostate massagers: where to start?

Contributor: Arlinnae Arlinnae
I have a definate taste in anal toys, but I am uncertain where to start for a prostate massager. Does anyone have suggestions for an effective starter product? I do not want to spend too much on it, because I am not certain it will be as well-received as we would like it.
Thanks!

Informative topic breakdown of Wand massagers:

Holders for wand vibrators?
has any one given those holders a go you put the majic wand in to ride no hands? looks like thrusting hips would push it over.

Smart Wand Medium Vs. The Yooo
I was curious if anyone has both the Smart Wand Medium and the Fun Factory Yoo? I'm looking for a massager for couple's massage that wasn't too...

Is the LELO Smart Wand REALLY waterproof?
Its labeled as waterproof, both on Eden and by LELO themselves, but I've read all the reviews and they've noted the fact that it has a open charging..

What's the best wand vibrator?
Is the Hitachi worth dropping almost $80 on? Or is the Fairy Wand better? Or is there one that you'd suggest instead?

Better with the wand?
Is it a lot better with your wand?

I'd suggest using your finger and searching on youtube for the basics on prostate massage then move to any small vibrator with a bend on the end of it.

It depends really whether you were thinking of something vibrating or non-vibrating.

Start with fingers. Fingers allow you to experiment with different types of penetration, thrusting, different degrees of pressure, and find out just where the prostate is. Take that knowledge and then get a toy if you decide you like it.
