Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the Weekly Review Roundup #67!
The Community Interview with D.L. King is in progress. So go check it out and ask some questions, it will be fun!
Over on Eden Café this week there is a contest going on called the Tentacle Contest There are going to be three winners, so enter now to win a Whipspider Rubberworks Tentacle or Tentacle Jr.
Just a reminder, there are only a few days left to vote on the entries for this years official Halloween Contest. You can vote through Halloween, and all of the winners will be announced on Monday November 01st.
Our very first Porn Club discussion will be taking place this coming week on the forum: Wednesday, November 3rd, and will run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST. Hopefully I will be seeing all of you there!
Our fourth Community Events Committee meeting was this past Monday night. If you haven’t check it out yet, you really should jump on over and skim through the thread! There are a number of really cool things in the works including the Adopt-a-Family plans for 2010. Our next meeting will be held on Thursday November 04th. Anyone is welcome to attend, so hopefully we will see you there!
Congratulations everyone! We have not only achieved an all time high number of review submissions for the week, but we have finally broke the 300 review barrier! The total for reviews submitted this past week was 311 reviews. You have all done an absolutely amazing job! Last week I predicted that at least once before the end of 2010, we would break 300! Outstanding!
And now on to this week’s 5 picks…
Aliki – “Unnerve me”, a review of the book Nerve. The First Ten Years by Chronicle Books. I’ve had my eye on this book for a little while already and just recently put it on my wishlist; this review just makes me want it even more. This is definitely one of the better book reviews I’ve read. The only thing that really matters, in terms of cons, would be that some pictures weren’t big enough. Oh well, I’m still looking forward to reading it!
ToyGeek - "Every Garden Needs a Rose", a review of Vibratex Rosebud dual-stimulation vibrator. When is a rabbit not a rabbit? When it's inspired by lovely pink roses, of course! ToyGeek gushes about the soft and hygienic silicone in her very informative review. Go check it out!
The Wolf – “Va-Va-Voluptuous”, a review of the DVD Voluptuous Biker Babes from Independent Adult Cinema. The Wolf reviews this DVD that has a lot going for it: the music, hot women, a great setting and an amusing plot. There's biker babes and leopard-print, tights-wearing babes galore. Plus, it has wresting, erotic dancing, and the fantastic April Flores! Really, what more could you ask for?
Aly890 - "Vibration that Glows and Floats", a review of the Luminescence massager by Cal Exotics. So you say you like steamy baths? And candles? And massages? The Luminescence massager seems to be a cute, floating hybrid of all three. It floats in the bath, gives off a soft glow, and vibrates at a decent strength. Intrigued? Check out Aly890's review and see why she gave this cool bath time toy five stars.
Jessica Elizabeth – “It fills you up”, a review of Tantus’s Deuce 1. Even though she also did a review on the Deuce 2, The D1 review just stood out a little more to me. This review just seems to cover everything I look for in a review; she even includes a video.
That’s it for this week folks. Have a great weekend!
