Do you think that there should be a minimum rating to be voted to an advanced reviewer? Or at least have to do a mentor class before being eligible? I am still pretty new to this, but I'm noticing that because it give you 5 points to vote for someone, a lot of people are getting upgrades that maybe shouldn't be getting them. It took almost 2 weeks for me to get an upgrade, and I may or may not have deserved it, but it was before the points were offered. Now I'm seeing new people when I sign in that I never saw a chance to even vote on myself. I'm not the best reviewer and I've gotten better due to the mentor program, and I may not have tried to upgrade or at least tried a little harder on my first reviews knowing I couldn't get upgraded until I was a certain rating. I didn't know how to do anything when I first signed up so after my first 2 reviews I requested to upgrade. If it gave me guidelines I may have done better and reached I higher rating. Am I making sense? Am I being judgmental? This might help get better reviews in. JMO!
So, I'm curious, and think!

There are no longer points given for voting for someone. There's been a couple other posts about this, in the last week or so actually, might want to read through those and that might give you more insight
