I was just recently upgraded to an Advanced Reviewer. However, how do I go about finding a product to request to review ? I know my limit is $40, however how do I know what product to pick ? Should the product have NO reviews or under a certain amount. And is there an easy way to search for products fitting the requirements or do I just have to search and find one. Thanks !
Just upgraded to Advanced.

If you go to Review program > Product search you can usually find some decent stuff. I've had pretty good luck just wandering around the site searching in my price range and checking to see how many reviews it has. Older things that nobody seems to care much about anymore or something that's brand new and hasn't gotten reviews on it yet are usually good choices. And if you see something you want and it's listed as "not available for purchase" you can still go ahead and request it. There's no guarantee you'll be able to get it, but I've had pretty decent luck with those too, and sometimes when they do get priced they end up being higher than your price range so you luck out there too.
Best of luck!

Thanks for the info! I finally found the Product Search after posting this question. Whoops. I am very excited to see what they end up sending me! I added a few things to my Assignments. Do you know how long it typically takes to know what they decide? I know it said it can take 30 Days. But I wasn't sure if that was a generic amount of time, hopefully it doesn't take that long, I'm defiantly not known for having patience

And do they go based on what you requested first, or does that just depend? Sorry if I am asking too many questions.
Thanks again!

One of the Administrators has to look at the requests and decide what is in your range, how many reviews it already has and whether the product is in stock etc. Also, most of the Admins do not work on weekends, so my guess is the earliest you will hear will be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Due to the holiday, it could be longer.

Don't get discouraged when you get a message that says "assignment canceled by administrator." All that means is that the item wasn't in stock or was over your price range or had too many reviews. I thought I had done something wrong the first time I got this message, but it's common.
Also, lingerie is not available for free assignments, so even though there are thousand of lingerie products in the "Product Search" they will not be approved. Sorry.
You'll find something. Stick with what Sam said, older stuff that people have forgotten about, or really new things that aren't even for sale yet. Don't request, say, a Hitachi or a really popular toy, as those are usually over the limit right away. You can do reviews on them, but you need to buy them or get them with points or as a buy out.

Never worry about asking questions, that's how we all learn. P'gell has good advice too, since an administrator will need to take a look at it to see if it meets the qualifications. She's also right that it usually doesn't take very long, but with the holiday weekend you might not hear back until Tuesday. In general you'll normally hear back within 1-2 business days. And it kind of does depend. If you submit 3 assignment requests and the 3rd one is the only one that's in stock/doesn't have too many reviews/etc then that's the one that goes through. And no, you can't request any lingerie or costumes, but you can do them on a buyout which will give you 30% off the item in exchange for a review. I'm not sure what the limit is on buyouts you can do at one time, but you can do multiple at a time, you just can't request a new review until you're caught up on all your buyouts.

Okay, Thanks! That is very helpful... I am very anxious to see what happens. There is a specific item I have my eyes on that has one review, and it has very limited information in that particular review, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My concern is though that they will approve some of the other items I added, do they go based on requests sent first? Say I requested an item 3 hours ago, and added another item... will they review the item that I added first? You may not know this answer but I figured it was worth asking.

In my experience you are more likely to get the products you request first as a priority but it is also based on availability.

P'Gell brought up a VERY good point:
Lingerie and costume assignment requests are not being filled.
Also, if there isn't a lot of info on a particular product, it could be in the Description review phase.

That one sounds like a very good possibility. Good luck!
