Hello to all you ED contributors!
I thought I'd make a post with some more information about myself, in case you're on the fence about voting for me.
I've always been interested in the sex-positive community - ever since discovering Scarleteen and the Sex is Fun show as a young teen. I never had an overly negative view of sex, but those resources really drove home the idea of sex (and masturbation) as something for fun and pleasure. I am currently working to become a peer educator at my college, and planning to specialize in safe sex and sexual assault prevention. I don't plan on pursuing sex education as a career, but it will always be a passion of mine, whether I'm involved in local activism or just spreading information and ideas to friends.
As a reviewer, I try to write the kind of reviews I like to read - those that detail not only the reviewer's personal experience, but how others may like the toy, and that give a thorough rundown of how it could be used, whether or not that use is what the toy was designed for. I'm well-versed in toy material safety and other potential hazards (such as using a toy without a flared base for anal play). And though I think my last review came off a bit dry, I also hope to write reviews that are fun to read!
