Or at least not reviewed for a long while? I've specifically noticed this to be true with Lingerie. Some items in that section have been reviewless for months yet are not listed as eligible for a free assignment. I thought the review program was meant to help guide costumers before making a purchase so wouldn't this help? Maybe there's something I missed in the guidelines
Why is it some items are never reviewed...

Maybe these pieces have been assigned or requested and they never wrote the reviews yet? I know a lot of items I've been interested in reviewing are supposed to have reviews on them because they've been assigned, but they just aren't there.

It's only recently that they started sponsoring lingerie reviews at all. Maybe some glitches in the system?

I notice, personally, that there are a lot of really neat items that are seriously overlooked due to the arrival of the newest items. This is NOT A FAULT OF ANYONE, it is, however, human nature to get more excited over the newest items you have been waiting for quite awhile to get. A lot of the time perfectly good and great items are overlooked in the shuffle.

I know there are things I have questions about and I don't want to take the plunge till I know for sure and there are no reviews. It's even worse when these things are popular and go out of stock yet still no review . I don't think it's anyone's fault I'm just wondering if maybe some items can't be assigned for some reason and reviewers haven't gotten a chance to get around to them.

Don't we have a certain number of weeks to do assignments? Like a two or three week grace period? Some of the stuff on my wishlist unreviewed has been there since November and that's got me wondering what's up. I would assume that if they are assignments whomever recieved them would have written something by now since Eden has been so generous to allow them to do a review.

From what I have read here, it is generally about four weeks, and then you get a "reminder." I have not gone that long yet (three weeks is the most for me so far), so I have not received any of these though.

Truth is, I am sure there are those who do abuse the system and never write the reviews. Human nature makes this a definite. Maybe Eden charges their card or PayPal account after a certain amount of time without doing the review.

I wanted to do a free assignment on a plug I have been interested in for months. Seriously 2-3 months ago and there's still 1 review on it but says I cannot request it for a free assigned review. I was under the impression that on a free assignment that within a months time you had to write the review? I could have misread that.

I was thinking more along the lines that maybe a few products were assigned and people just never did the review at all (even though they were assigned to it). So they were supposed to, but just never did? I dunno lol.

You can always email JR/Gary and request it for review, with an explanation of what you just said here. They do make exceptions, and they're always really nice about it.

That could be it, it's really sad that people abuse the system like that and just assume that they won't be charged in the long run. I'm glad that Eden has never taken away the program due to things like this if what your saying happens from time to time. That would ruin it for those of us who do our assignments on time and appreciate that we're given them.

I just placed an order but for next time, if the items I'm waiting on haven't been reviewed I might give it a try too.
