Reviewing items that have already been reviewed?

Contributor: Kat Shanahan Kat Shanahan
I'm relatively new to the reviewing business, and I'm still trying to get my bearings, so forgive me if this is a dumb question!

I use the "Product Search" to find things to review, so that I know the products found will be within the price range for my rank. But I'm never sure what to choose when it comes to "Review Status". I usually choose items that have no reviews whatsoever, but...can I choose an item that has already gotten reviews? I'm sure I've seen items on the site that have more than one review, but I want to make absolutely sure, as opening up my search parameters to include already-reviewed items would definitely open up my options.

You can only request an assignment on products that have two (three? I'm sure someone will pop in and tell you/me which) or fewer reviews on them already.

Products that you want to pay for yourself, by buyout or as a regular order, and then review can have as an unlimited number of reviews on them.

I believe it is two but I have had a few that when requested had a pop up that asked why I thought I could write a better review.

Also, if there have been comments on the product page, that can show up as reviews. In this case a quick email to Gary or JR may get you that product.

You can also go to the regular catalog (above under "sex toys" ) take the item number, copy it into the search engine in Product Search and if there are less than 3 reviews, and it is in your price range, request it for review.

I have found looking at more "obscure" items tend to lead to better rates of acceptance for reviews. Most rabbits, older vibes, really popular well known products tend to already have at least 3 reviews. You MAY review these products, but like Delicious said, it needs to be a buy out request or you may buy it yourself and review it.

Thanks for the informative response! As I said, I'm still kind of new to this whole thing, so I'm trying to pick items that will be approved for review without any major hassle.

I've found it really hard to find products with less than 3 verified reviews...Does anyone have any tips?
