Review Toys not currently sold by EF?

Contributor: MrClark MrClark
Is there a way to add toys to not sold by EF on EF to write a review for them? Like let's say Lelo toys not currently sold on EF? Or toys currently only available via manufacturer website?

Curious if the best way would be to write like a SexIs article or if there is a way to add these new toys to the site to host a review for them for the community? Thanks in advance.

Oftentimes there are products not shown that they have had in the past that they have discontinued on site. If it's an older version of a toy, then it most likely has been reviewed before. I search the item on the site, then click the reviews tab just under search results. I've reviewed a few discontinued items just in case others happen upon it if they need the review to decide whether a product is right for them. But if they've sold the product in the past, it will most likely be in the reviews.

Yeah, I've done this for quite of the toys I currently own that I bought years ago. As an example, I just ordered the Tiani 24K from lelo, which seemingly is new and not currently sold by EF; however, I would love to review and compare it to the Tiani 3 that I just recently reviewed for the community. Likely should have asked this in the reviews section, but as was about reviewing a vibrator kind of asked it here before it occurred to me.

Kind of think this has been discussed before, like here. Think the idea of being able to add new "discontinued" toys to the system so reviews could be generated wouldn't be a significant technical hurdle. But sounds like the only way is to either write discussion board posts about the toy or post elsewhere.

Still think writing a SexIs article as a new toy review might be a way to do it? But not really familiar with those or if there are limitations. Enjoying the aspect of a community space to share reviews of toys.

My 2 bits. Although EF has this review by actual users section, they won't benefit from helping other site sell toys. It does cost them $ to keep this site going. I do wish EF would carry more toys though. Maybe send tickets with suggestions as to what they might consider carrying also. They do carry some of name brand items that are good sellers.

Yeah totally appreciate doesn't make sense from a business concept. And think they carry toys they think they will sell, including ones from pricier brands. No reason they should carry all of a brand as some toys are so pricy the market for the toy is very limited, like the Lelo INEZ. Likely best option would be to share the experience on the discussion board if nothing else.
