So, I just received a free assignment and reviewed it, and I've started to wonder how often you can review free items. I'd like to just review one for about a month and then request again, but if others are going from one assignment directly to another, I don't want to miss out on my chance to review a product because someone got there first! Anyone know what the norm is on this? Much appreciated!

You may request ONE free Eden-sponsored assignment per month that is in your price range.

You may also request ONE free manufacturer-sponsored assignment per month when there are items that manufacturers are looking to have reviewed.
You may also review up to SIX buy-out assignments per month - you purchase them all at one time at 30% off and review them within the one month time frame.
Many of us also review products we've purchased on our own or buy-out assignments, etc.
Sometimes JR will post in here that he has some push assignments and you can request up to ONE of those at a time also.
Hope this helps!

I think I would hurt myself reviewing that many in a month. Or get seriously dehydrated.

I'm currently trying to decide which six items to do as a buyout this month - from a list of 20 or so items I'd like to review....

Wow this is great to know thanks! Question where do you find our what's available to review. I know I saw the link somewhere on here but I can't seem to find it.

Are you sure that it's only 6 buy-outs a month? I could have sworn that I did seven buy-outs at one time at the end of January (some reviews still in process).. I'll need to check.

I'm wondering something.. with the buy out assignments, do you have to finish all of these first before you are able to receive a free assignment? Say you bought X,Y, and Z on buy out, and then a MF review product was available. Are you able to request the MF review assignment if Z review is not done yet?

I've always been told that the limit was six for buyouts and I don't think I was allowed to put a 7th item in my assignment request thing - but I could be wrong.

I know when I tried to do the buy out assignment they told me I had to first do the review on the free assignment I had received. Thanks for doing this post because I did not realize all the options we had.

Thanks hun for the response. I've been wondering about that because I'd love to do some buy-outs since I review most of the things anyway, but it stinks that the buy outs have to be done before you can be assigned any other review product because say for example, I had 3 buy out reviews, and then there was a MF review available I was interested in. I wouldn't want to have to wait until my buyouts were finished to be able to be assigned that one MF product I was interested in. I always do my reviews in a timely manner, but I wouldn't like not being able to be assigned something fabulous just because I had some buy-outs that needed to be completed first. More than likely I'd miss the opportunity then. I'm not even sure if how I'm explaining this makes sense lol.

This was a great question and finding out all of these answers has been really helpful. I am not an advanced reviewer yet but i am hoping i do well enough in my mentor class to graduate and become one. This information will really help.

I believe if you're still working on buy-out assignments and a MF sponsored item comes up - you can take it - but not an Eden-sponsored.
JR is the one who needs to answer this though.

Well, I generally request a free assignment and a buyout assignment (or two) at the same time, so that I can get free shipping on the whole thing. But I usually have my reviews done within 2 weeks (I like to use a product for a week or two before I review it so I've had time to experience EVERYTHING about it.)

I just requested an EF sponsored review. I still have a few buy-outs to complete, as well. It allowed me to request it.

ETA: Just to add, my free assignment just got approved, despite that I have buyouts to complete. I'm not able to do any more buyouts until my old ones are complete though.
