Take the time to surf the site and all it has to offer. There's tons of threads and informational blogs that have how-to and offer advice. Inside your Account (located on the top left of your screen) there is the Review Program - start there it gives an outline of everything but there's always more questions - I found answers in the threads already posted in the Review section of the forum and in blogs. After reading up on it everyone here is really friendly if you still have questions just ask

I joined the review program and read the guidelines. I then chose a product to review. This was a week ago. It's still in my assignment cart. Is that all I do? And wait for them to approve it?
Thanks
Thanks

Before you can request an assignment for a free review, you have to become an advanced reviewer. To do that you have to write at least 2 reviews on products you already have and then get voted in, or you can go through the mentor program which I believe also ends up in becoming an advanced reviewer. While you're in the mentor program, your mentor can request assignments for you.

If you already have the product you want to write the review on, you would do it from your assignment cart.
I hope that helps some

This is frustrating to learn but I hope to be able to write reviews soon. I don't really own anything on here but I will look around some more to see if I have any of this stuff for my initial 2 reviews.

It helps to start reading other reviews. Especially by those with high ratings. You can also use the extended review form that outlines the subjects. This helps in making sure you address different product aspects and it also gives helpful little inspirations when you click the links around the individual sections.
