I'm curious to see how other members of the EF community choose which reviews they read. So, when you read reviews, what influences your decision to read that particular review?
How do you choose which reviews to read?

I don't read all the new reviews, I usually read the ones on items I'm interested in.

I don't have enough time to read every review, so I just pick the ones that are products I'm interested in.

I choose items that look interesting and catch my eye.

I pick reviews on items I'm interested in. I also have a few people I follow that I read every review they write even if I'm not interested in the item because I know they write good reviews.
09/04/2012
I choose a review if I think it's an item I'd be interested in
09/04/2012
I read reviews from a few people regardless of whether or not I'd consider purchasing the product. For other reviews, I check them out when I see something that looks interesting.

I read the reviews of items I'm interested. I read all the reviews of people I follow that similar preferences and body shape (for lingerie) if they rate the item 4 or 5 stars, they might be able to point me to something I overlooked.

I really only read reviews for items I'm interested in.

Only those I'm interested in.

i just read ones for the products im interested in.

I check out new reviewers, I have certain people I get alerts from, I read reviews on items I've written about to see if they have the same thoughts as I did on it, and I have set alerts for things that I want and read the reviews that come out on those. As of right now I have 227 reviews that are in my email that I need to read.

I find an item I'm interested in, I look over the reviews to see a name I recognise, then I read that review, otherwise I read the review ranked most useful.
I'd love to be able to read them all, but it becomes a time issue, and if one gives me the facts that I want then that takes care of everything.

I do the same as you. I do reviews on things I want to get. Then I follow a bunch of people who I always read their reviews. Most of the stuff they have I plan to get if I have not already gotten it. Then I will read some new reviews.

I loll at my wall to see what ones have been voted on lately. Then I go to community forum and read reviews . It Isnt bassed on who wrote them or reviewed them.

What I am interested in, and if I like the reviewers style..
09/04/2012
I scroll down and read random reviews based on whether the item jumps out at me. I skip most reviews for lingerie, rarely read reviews for male toys, etc. I just don't know enough about what makes a good review for lingerie, and I wouldn't know if some vital thing was missing for a review or a male toy, so I leave those up to experts to read.

I will read all reviews on a product if it gets my attention
09/04/2012
I read reviews on the products I am interested in an usually by my fave contributors or the first two that come up
09/04/2012
Products I'm interested in, mainly. But sometimes I'll read a new review even if it's something I'm not interested in just because I need the points from my comment and vote.

I like to read about products I'm interested in or new ones that I come across by EF newbies.
09/05/2012
Most of the time I'll read reviews on products I am interested in. I also read some reviews because of the reviewer, but there are only about 5 reviewers where I make sure to read everything they review.

up until last week i only viewed reviews, polls, and discussions that showed up on my wall
