For the guys: If You Can't Find a "Male" Assignment to Review...

This happened to me last month too...

Today I was able to choose an assignment. I had a few in mind of new masturbators I saw released very recently. I thought for sure this month I'd be able to get a specific "male" assignment. Nope! I tried at least 8 very new things for guys only and they were all already spoken for.

This doesn't bum me out even though I was shocker. I guess there are just more of us guys on here now which is great. I like ready guy toy reviews from a guy perspective more than a girl giving her guy's perspective.

My question is... what do you then do?

For me, I used to wait and try again later. Then I started forgetting and wouldn't choose an assignment for awhile, so now I just get something for us as a couple or for her. Do you guys wait? Try to find a female toy you might use too? Get something for the girl like lingerie or a vibe to use on her? Or just get mad and give up?

I generally wait for an item that I really want to review. I can't review as much as I would like, so I try to be fairly picky. However, I usually keep pretty busy between DR and push assignments that I actually don't request my monthly very often at all. I'm also a little different from most guys I think in that I'm typically not very interested in masturbators unless they are really different.

I'm not a guy, but, I've seen a TON of the lubes that don't have any reviews. I know it's not exactly the most exciting thing ever, but I mean, I don't see how either sex could go wrong with reviewing a lube, and I also think it's important to get both sex' opinion on a lube. Might consider that, maybe.

Hi, Penguin--

First, let me reassure you that any lingerie men buy for their special women, is really for us as much as for them!!! I really enjoy seeing and being with my wife when she is dressed up for me with heels and some sexy lingerie/stockings.

After having said that, if I couldn't get a new arrival item that I wanted, I would select something else from the large assortment of male goodies on EdenFantasys. Many of the tried and true items are still listed as available for review. I know (if it is your thing) that there are many, many, many DVD's I wish had reviews written about them so I wouldn't be buying some and wasting alot of money. Also, if you are set on a sleeve, there are many available for review.

So, if your first 6 or so picks are not available, try an oldie but goodie (like me!) or wait a few months and try again--set a reminder for yourself on the "alert" button at the items page--then EdenFantasys will automatically send you an alert on the day you specify so you won't forget.

I pretty much will review anything, so when there is not a stroker/sleeve available I go looking for other toys. Since I am big into anal play, I can find dils and vibes to review pretty easily. The only problem there is finding one that has a base/handle or that is long enough.

Lingerie is always good too, like oldman said, most guys would like a guys perspective on them too. I am sure the gals will like hearing what we think too.

Unless I know the reviewer to be a guy, there's literally no way to tell if a contributor could use a "male" toy.

If you're a guy and would like to review male products, PLEASE let me know and I'll do my best to get you a male assignment. I can't guarantee, but I'll do my best!

I do both. I get shit for it of course but thats how I started, why stop now. I have done a lot more male sex toys in the last couple of months but I always have my eyes on toys for women. I just love doing reviews on sex toys man, I'm an addict!

I do not care. I happen to like BDSM toys and anal toys, so there is always something for me to review it seems. So I just pick another toy that I really want and do not have to wait.

Sometimes I get couples toys as well.

I haven't gotten that into reviewing but I imagine the more you review the better the opportunity to raise your reviewer rating and from what I understand the better toys will be available.
