Almost 24 hours ago, I submitted a review to be published. Earlier on this afternoon, I submitted a separate review. The second review took only a few hours to be published, but the first one that I submitted some time ago still shows the status of "submitted." My question is whether or not reviews are published in order of when they were submitted? Or can editors pick and choose which tasks they would like to edit? Just anxious to see my review go live. Thanks!
Are Reviews Published in Order?

We pick and choose, and we also are given a limit to how many we can do a day. So it depends.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I thought, I was just surprised that this one was taking much longer to go live than any of the others that I've submitted.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are not always published in order of submission. Some of my reviews have gone up really quickly, while others take a bit longer. I think it just depends on when an editor picks it from their tasks, and how long it takes them to read over and correct. All reviews are proofread and published pretty rapidly though, at least from what I can tell.
