Any assignments approved lately?

My last assignment to be approved was in March, and the review for that was only recently published. All of my assignment requests after were either declined very quickly (2-5 days) or sat in my assignment area with no response either way. My current request has been sitting for 14 business days (not counting weekends).

How many are even requesting assignments? When was the last anyones was approved?

I submitted a request a couple of weeks ago, and also a support ticket, and I still have not been responded to. Weeks.

My last assignment was approved on the 28th of last month I believe. It is most likely that the products you are choosing are going to other reviewers. Just keep trying and if you're itching to review something, make a purchase and review the item.

This if funny. I put in a request 3 months ago and everything is being rejected. I have been actually buying what I want and reviewing it in a timely fashion my rank has continued to climb and still I am getting rejected, even on low ticket Items that I request. If you are as unlucky as me you could be waiting for a long time.

All of my requests for the month of April were declined and the May/June ones have just sat inactive. I tried requesting different priced items as well, all within my range of course.

Well, at least I grabbed a dildo I've been wanting on the current 50% off sale! So I'll have that to review very shortly

This site is not like it was a year ago when i was here under a different screen name. they don't give many points at all now, it's impossible to get approved for a mentor to help, etc. i was a mentor til i closed my account when management changed.

i was told by a mentor that Eden Fantasys is NO longer accepting free assignments for students and that the only way to review stuff is by buying them. im closing my account for good. the site has gone downhill BIG time in the past 2 years. its just not worth the time / energy for little to no points, as well as the fact that u cant even use all points. u have to spend $ here

@ PoP: Hey, PoP! Missed you!

@ *Ashley*: Unfortunately, I don't know of any sites like this one used to be, nor even close. I have asked around, too. However, PoP is right, she has done very well for herself by doing her own review blog and she is swimming in items to review. Of course, she works her ass off doing it, but you are in control of how much effort you can or want to put into it and once you get started you will likely find it more rewarding than just reviewing on here. And you can still post the reviews on here, too. All you do is link to your review blog in your Eden review, there's even a space to do so. Slutty Girl Problems is someone who recently started doing this, breaking out on her own to blog (after getting her review writing chops here first) and she posts the reviews on here as well. She went from a new member to the number three spot of the top ranked reviewers on this site in under a year!!

I just got my FIRST assignment for a DR in a long time I believe it has been over a year since I was sent something. I have my main focus on my blog where I have been reviewing for 4 years and counting. Like it was already stated though about other bloggers busting their butts doing reviews, I myself do the same. I don't just review toys either, I maintain 3 different blogs. If you aren't feeling it here then you may want to look into creating a blog. I will say though sometimes the reviewing world can get brutal.

I've not gotten an assignment from here in well over a year, either. I'd love to launch my own blog, but unfortunately with all of the information out there, I don't even know where to start! I'm a bit perplexed as to how to get things off the ground. With all of the affiliate ads, picking a blog site (Because I cannot afford my own domain right now), and the complicated aspect of not even knowing how to get in touch with manufacturers..it's difficult. I'd LOVE to be able to write up all-new reviews based on my experience with the toys I have already grown to love (almost 100) as well as new reviews for newer experiences, but I don't have the money to do either at the moment; even if writing is what I love to do. If someone has a link to a blog/website breaking it down better (how to start a review blog), please I'd love for someone to message me. Quite honestly, I just miss reviewing in general. :]

No, there are people there. Just busy doing other things. Apparently only answering when absolutely necessary. ie purchases and returns etc. Every now and then they poke their heads out. Streamline operation. EF not funded like the US govt. Lol. hey, just kidding around.

At this point, it's nearly useless to create a blog without being self hosted. The free sites are cracking down on adult content and shutting blogs down without notice (especially if they're affiliated with adult shops/sites. There are hosting plans that make it worthwhile, especially when you start earning commissions, and hostgator is always running deals when you sign up (many bloggers also have 25% off codes you can use as well).

Do a web search for adult blogging advice and you'll find a lot of bloggers have touched on the subject (some have gone into great detail about what you need to do when you first start). It's not nearly as complicated as it seems at first, and there are a lot of people willing to help.

If you're not already, join twitter. That's really the best place to seek advice and promote your blog.

I would say that the review program is dead, but I've seen recent reviews. I guess those could be from purchases? I was wondering what was up, too.

I mostly only look for hand outs at sample tables at Costco. Even then I will let others go ahead of me. Col....!

This may need a new thread but it's along the same lines. Has anyone REVIEWED a submission lately. I went to go edit a task and the list goes on for ever with some assignments dating back to 2013. WTF? Does anyone care about EF any more?

2013? Wow, it seems that many have simply just given up. I think if we want to keep this thing going, we are going to have to do this ourselves. Ownership doesn't seem too concerned with the forums these days.

Are you talking about the review submissions in the Task Market? I've been trying my best to get some published. Sadly, I'm a slow worker and can only do that much! I'm glad you're back to work on some — your prior editing job has been quite a while ago, right?
