Hello, I am a blogger who has joined the Eden Loves Bloggers program, and love it. This is my second month of doing sponsored posts, and I'm really enjoying, but I do have an interest in becoming a reviewer as well. I know you can't be if you're an advanced reviewer, so is it worth my time to start trying to review, or just stick to sponsored posts? Thanks for the advice.

I don't know what you get as a blogger - but let me share what I get as a reviewer and maybe that will help you decide.
As an advanced reviewer, I'm allowed one free product per month up to a certain price range based upon my ratings. Currently, I'm at the level where I can request a product up to $75 in value. I've worked hard to get here - I've done it in three months with lots of reviews and lots of work - but it is possible. I worked with mentors twice to learn what the community expected and when I switch over to dildos later this year, I may find a third mentor to work with.
I also can receive "Manufacture Sponsored Products" to review too. I can request one at a time.
I do video reviews - which you have to have approved in advance - but that gets you a $25 gift card.
In addition - I am allowed to buy up to 6 items per month at 30% off if I agree to do reviews on them. I can choose ANY items I want.
That's what I'm going to call the "Basic Advanced Level" which is where many folks are at. At this level, when JR posts stuff that needs reviewing, you can request it and get something extra.
However - as my ratings went up and my review quality went up, I asked to be a member of the Descriptive Review team and got accepted. Sometimes I get one or two items offered to me - and as soon as my reviews are done - I'll get more. Other times, I may have my reviews done and go a couple of weeks or longer without an item or two to review. I have the option of turning down any assignments but have taken things like floggers, moisturizers, dildos and more. This program is "feast or famine" depending upon how much they need reviewed at the moment.
Once I hit 6.0, I asked to be a member of the video review team. With this, I will be getting one extra item per month that I will do a video review on - plus the written review - plus get a $25 gift card.
So for me - since I can do up to 4 video reviews per week (aka $100 in gift cards) - and I'm currently behind and need to catch up on those - I earn a lot of gift cards and thus can buy more stuff.
Really it depends upon what you want - how much you're willing to work on your reviews and learn how to write them well and meet the sort of "unstated and often argued about" community standards.
Whatever you decide is best for you - GOOD LUCK!
