I do not know about others, but if I get more than 5 votes on most of my reviews lately, I consider myself lucky. And since the number of ratings and comments count for 18% of the rating, it's a good chunk of the rating. I even have a review that have no votes or comments, and that have been on the site for about a month. The review is a descriptive review, and the rating options aren't readily available on the product page. I even shared that review on Twitter from the site, and that didn't even help.
I've been struggling for months to reach 6.5 in vain, but by the time I have time to review something again, it was just enough to keep me at about the same level. So it's getting a little frustrating.
Is it possible to tune those percentages down or put more focus on the usefulness? Or just tweak the system a little bit and even add something about logging regularly?
