Do you get excited when it goes up? Sad when it goes down? Do you even notice or do you just not care?
How much do you react when your rank changes?

I was recently excited to see my rank go up .1. I'm just .1 away from my reviews auto-publishing! Yay! I've only ever had my rank go down once and I was sad for a second but it went right back up the next day so it wasn't a big deal. It was right after it had gone up so it was obviously a temporary transition. I guess it was settling.

Doesn't bother me what happens to it. I'm in no real risk of it going down crazy low but acknowledge that I don't spend as much time here as I used to, so don't care if it does dip down.

If I happen to notice it, I'm excited when it goes up! And a little bit disappointed when it goes down, but not too much

I usually don't notice very often, but when it does rise I do get a bit excited and proud of my work and time on here.

I have to admit that when I see it goes up - I kinda do a little happy dance and my husband always loves to hear what my current rank is. I'm hoping to add about 10 or more reviews by the end of this week (all are partly done right now and I'm editing photos, etc) and I'm sure that will change it some.

I check my rank from time to time but not too often, I honestly like seeing my rank go up a point lately because I wouldn't mind getting to 6.0+ for the mentor program. But I am in no rush, otherwise I'd be pumping out a review or 2 a day just to get there.
Rank just makes me proud of what I have done on EF.

I get excited when it goes up, definitely. I'm so close to 6.5! lol.

I haven't cared too much about my rank in a long time. That being said, I still get excited if I go up in number or position (not that there's any other position to go to right now), and I still get a little sad if I drop down anywhere. But it's all pretty temporary and I don't dwell on it too much.

It's pretty cool to see my rank go up. Three days ago, I was 5.4 -- today, my rank is 5.7. I think it's pretty awesome that my rank went up .3 points in 3 days -- but it'll probably drop down in another day or two.

Ranks can go down?! WHAT!?

I get excited when it goes up, and a little disappointed when it goes down, although I haven't experienced either in a while, it has been pretty stead.

I get excited when I see it go up, once it went down and I was upset but within the same few minutes it went back up and I was happy again.

I dont pay attention at all. I just do my thing on here.

I love when my rank goes up!

also, as taken from the website on contributor ranking and logic:
"These factors are calculated daily, and in comparison to other reviewers (which is why your rating might change even if you haven't done anything)."

Yay mine went up to 5.8 today. This makes me happy because I am getting closer to the mentor program. But of course not in any rush.

I didn't really know rank could go down, I've only notice mine go up. I would definitely be disappointed if my rank went down.

Since getting closer to 6.0, when I notice it went up, I do get a twinge of excitement from it. The mentoring thing would be pretty nifty.

Yeah at first I was very excited and really trying to get to 6.0 for mentoring. But with things being crazy at home lately, I am just taking my time on reviews and also getting to the mentor part. I don't expect it will be too crazy, but until I am ready to dedicate that time to the program I should wait.

When I was close to the 5.5 mark, I was obsessively watching my rank and waiting for it to change so I could auto-publish and be bumped into the next pricing guideline band. I'm always happy when I see that my rank has gone up, but since I don't see myself as a mentor type, the next rank with an outside significance is 6.5. I don't expect to reach that one any time soon with my slow reviewing rate.

I have gotten to the point where my reviews auto-publish and honestly I sometimes wish I had a second set of eyes going over my review before it posts. I wish we had the option to let an editor have it.

You don't, no. Lol. Reviewers do, though, and you haven't reviewed anything. I've seen at least one user who hasn't reviewed anything, either, but they had a rank because they've been here for so long posting in the forums a lot. Their rank was only .1, though. Even still, without reviews, that's impressive.
