Yes I do.

Yup! I haven't written very many reviews, but I am pretty active on the forums, so my rank makes sense.
04/15/2013
Definitely. I don't write reviews frequently so I think a 6.2 is pretty great considering I've only written 32 in a year (I think, at least...)
04/15/2013
I don't even know if I have a rank as I don't do reviews
04/15/2013
I had to stop caring because I couldn't seem to work it up no matter what.

Yes - I'm not sure how the system works. If there is ever an issue the EF staff is always there to explain what's going on. THANKS TO THE EF STAFF!

I think mine is fair. In fact, I'm kind of pleasantly shocked how quickly it's been going up lately.

Yes, I think it's very fair.

I don't know; is 5.3 a fair rank for someone who has all extremely useful reviews except one?
04/16/2013
I have no complaints about mine.
04/16/2013
I think that it is ok. I am a little bit miffed about the fact that it goes up for being active on the forums, as that doesn't require the kind of time and effort that the reviews do, but it is what it is.

Meh. I guess I'm okay with mine.

I think that my personal rating is fair, however I have seen some others whose ranks I think are too high. When I come across reviewers with 30+ "somewhat useful" reviews in a very short time, it makes me a little sad. It would be nice if rank factored in both number and quality of reviews, but that seems tricky to do.

I think it's very fair. I'm not as good as some people are and I don't do reviews very often no more (I have little time compared to before o_o) so I think my 5.4 is very fair.

Mine has been pretty stagnant - I've been trying to post more in forums to up the rank, but alas, it's the same!

If I started some useless game threads, I'd probably be higher, but I can't complain. It's not really very relevant anymore.

When I had a 4.9 rank with only one review, I thought it was quite inflated. But when I doubled my reviews (OK, I went from 1 to 2) and my rank didn't change, that was quite disappointing! They should start us lower, so we can see an increase from that second review! With some "extremely useful" ratings on my third review, my rank finally went up a tenth. I can see its going to be a slow climb!
My 4th review probably won't be very useful (I'm planning to review a lube, and there just isn't much useful to say), so its likely my 4-reviews rank will be the same as my 1-review rank. Sad!

You are correct - it does factor in. The problem is that if you write five reviews that are simply worth reading, your rank will still climb more than if you write one extremely useful review. Quality and quantity are about equal in contribution to your rank. If it were the case that writing low-quality reviews lowered your rank instead of raising it (because based on quantity, your rank still goes up, even if you get a 0% increase based on quality), I don't think that we would see this.

The number of discussion posts from other contributors on the discussions created by you only contributes to two percent of your rank. Even if the people starting those discussions have a perfect two percent, it's still only two percent.
