Tags Issue

I know this was probably not a trivial bit of reprogramming, and I hate to be negative, but the new way that tags come up in extended reviews is not so good. It makes the reviews flow poorly when read. Also, they seem to negate all previous tags made on reviews. Perhaps they could be kept at the bottom of the review - on in the very least, below the text in each section? And is there any way to make them cooperate with the previous tagging short of just re-doing it all?

Sorry to be a complainer I like the idea, it just isn't working so hot in the execution.

I agree with all of what Red has said and would like to talk about possibilities for other places the tags could show up. I feel like the headers in the extended review template already chop the review into sections, and with the additional sections for tags, it's a bit of an information overload.

Triple Agree. It makes my head hurt. And me sad in general. It just doesn't look good IMHO.

So the tags coming up in the use section is a new feature and not just a glitch? Cuz it was driving me crazy. Doesn't flow well or read well at all.

Along with these suggestions, I would consider making the tags collapsible.

I'd agree with all of this and add I think they're just unnecessary, at least as part of the review itself. It makes me feel like I may as well not write all of the other info in the review if it's already been predigested into about 4 tags for each section. I understand it's important that a customer can get as much information as possible from a review and that it's not too complicated, but this has really dumbed it down too much.

I believe that since they have not announced its release that they are figuring out what to do with it. If it's something that's going to stay (or at least not be changed for a while), Neuron Geek would have updated us.

I totally agree, except I don't really even like the idea. I get really frustrated with tags as it was. Especially with the first category only having busy women or busy men...why not just men/women. IDK.

I totally agree that it looks funky now, less professional, and visually appealing. I made my peace with them being at the bottom.

Maybe they could be up by the pros and cons, and then there be a section for general?

I just wrote my first review with the new tagging system, and it drove me crazy. Can I just not tag anything and have the review look how it used to? The tags being on the bottom worked well in my opinion.

We will consider how to optimize the tags in the review sections, for now they will be moved to the bottom of each section and they will take less space. However we will not be able to move the tags below the review because new tags are structured per section not per review. The tags are really useful for some customers who try to scan the page, if the tags contain the concentrated knowledge about the specific aspect of the product.

I can see where you're coming from. For me, it really doesn't matter where they go on the review, but I would be interested in how the customer feels.

If we add no tags to our own reviews will this keep them out of the sections? What about reviews that are done in the standard format, as opposed to the extended format?
