I got mine today too! The Sanatorium box was huge! I was shocked to find that inside was just a single normal sized dvd case...

We can't wait to watch them..I'm kind of nervous about Sanatorium but also really excited!

Wow, Sanatorium is going to be the toughest thing for me to review up to this point. Won't give too much away, but its very very very complex. Trying to wrap my head around a review is...woossshhh mind blowing. Gonna have to watch this like all day and night for the next 4 days in order to put a thought down.

the trailer kinda scared me, this scared me even more as to what is to come when

We're saving it for next week and plan on watching it the way we do an actual movie (a.k.a. trying to pay attention instead of screwing through it) so that we can absorb it all. I don't think it'll work for us as a typical porno would..but I am going to watch it as the premise of a psycho thriller, which it also is, with the added benefit of sex scenes! The idea behind the movie sounds incredibly interesting, and it's something I'd watch if it was a regular movie for sure....so I think we'll try watching it as one, and while I haven't turned it on at all I have looked at the pictures on the back and it looks like it'll be pretty hot too

I have watched a little bit of it already. I received mine yesterday and couldn't wait. It is nothing at all like what is betrayed in the preview. From what I have watched it tells a story (if you read the back of the box it says it too lol ). The psycho scenes are shown but only at short glances. I actually really like it... It's HOTT.

That's what I was thinking because of the box..the box looked like there was quite a bit to it that wasn't psycho. I'm really looking forward to the story line...haha first time THAT has happened with a porn!

Well, I just submitted mine. I figure we submit ours now, and what not, they might not be published until all or most of them are received. I do not know how its gonna work.

In an earlier post, you stated that you expected this review to be your toughest one yet. So, was it as difficult as you expected it to be? I'm glad it didn't end up taking you four days after all.

I still need to go back and watch it again before even attempting to begin a review.

Well its not bad, it was tough adjusting. I didn't want to give away the plot, so that the reader could still enjoy the movie if he/she purchased it. So I gave a summary, that was no more spoiler filled than the back cover (which I felt was a complete Spoiler). I focused a little more on other parts of the production. Since I was not going scene by scene it opened up the word count and let me describe some other things in better detail.

Also saw that there was an "Extended" Format when I was writing it, I chose not to use it, and decided to go with my format, but it was interesting

I also suggest, If anyone wants to figure it out on there own, do not watch the commentary for awhile. I had a rough idea in my head about what was going on, after a few watches. He confirmed some of my beliefs and also went discredited some of what I initially thought. The good thing, there is so much stuff, he says he didn't even get to discuss it all in the commentary.

Your not alone, I am not a fan of horror movies either. I think this one is mislabeled as a "Horror" flick. Too me it was an adventure with some suspense. It does have some scenes that can be classified as horror, but they really are few and far. More Psychedelic feel to it too me.

Its not bad, but it had me cringing a few times, maybe 3 times over all in 2 hours and 11 minutes. Its good, not bad. I am a light weight even!

If nothing else, I think my point of view as someone who isn't so much into horror/suspense/thrill er flicks will be valuable for viewers who are on the fence

I'm intrigued and do want to see it, though!

As someone who's never done a video review, what is most useful: a scene by scene analysis, or an in-depth plot summary? I just worry that doing it scene-by-scene will ruin it for viewers, but an in-depth plot summary will give it away, too.

I think it depends on the Video.

For me, just the way Sanatorium is set up, I went with a plot summary. It is detailed, but not as much as to give away information that would ruin or spoil it for others. I explained a few things that were in this film, but didn't go to far in-depth with it. Which is hard, it was like walking a tght rope, I asked myself "I am I giving too much away?" and "I am giving too little info?". I think I got a happy medium.

I went with a plot summary, I think it might be easier to do this, but that is up to you

No. Certain categories of items do not auto publish no matter what kind of review or assigned/unassigned they are.

That's what I was thinking, too. I don't know how many people are doing the Porn Club, but with only two titles out, that will lots of reviews! More opinions for the customer to consult before deciding whether it will be his/her cup of tea, I suppose! Either that or EF will only choose a few to publish?
