A reminder -
I need to make sure everyone who does video reviews is doing the tagging, titling and descriptions properly when they upload. We're going to start having y'all edit errors before the video is considered complete and payable in the future.
Also! Try to keep vids to around 3 minutes long. I know some seem to require more length but most folks tune out after a minute or two.
Tagging, Titling, Describing
1. Title - Should have Name of the Product , Type of Product and the word Review
As an example - Smartballs Kegel Exerciser Review
2. Description - The description should be a brief summary of what you are reviewing. It needs to make sense to those who may see the video somewhere other than attached to the review - on EdenTube itself, on Facebook, etc. Descriptions should include the Product Name, Manufacturer name and a sentence or two describing what it is, what it does and what its key features are.
As an example - Smartballs, from Fun Factory, are an amazing kegel exercise option. Made from body safe elastomed in multiple color combinations, these balls are both stimulating and effective in tightening the vaginal muscles when worn regularly. A retrieval cord makes them as easy to remove as they are to insert.
3. Tags - These should make sense and be searchable words (words people are likely to search for). The first letter of each tag should be CAPITALIZED. Do not use "Review" or "EdenFantasys" as a tag, please. If you're doing an adult video, please put the tag "Nudity" in it - this inserts the automatic warning cover.
As an example - Smartballs, Fun Factory, Kegel Exerciser, Kegels, Benwa Balls
I'm not trying to be picky and everyone who does video reviews is receiving these instructions but the fact of the matter is we have to do them a certain way, just as we have to write text reviews a certain way. It wastes time for everyone to have to go back and edit these after you guys have uploaded - which we have to do 90% of the time. Please take your time and do your titles, tags and descriptions properly.
In the future, video reviews will not be considered complete until these are fixed if done incorrectly. So - no gift card until your tags, title and description are good!
I may as well toss in a few more reminders, as well.
Email for approval before doing a video
Email when upload is complete. I can't send a gift card without an email
Keep your lighting as bright as you can and pay attention to sound. If the quality is cruddy, don't turn it in. Redo in better lighting, get better sound, etc. No one watches the videos if they can't be seen and heard well.
Videos should not contain every single detail the text review does. Keep them short and sweet, to the point. Show the features that benefit the viewer but do not spend 10 minutes talking about cleaning, product specs, etc
Upload ONE video per day. If you've gotten a list of a few approved, spread them out. You can do up to four or five a week but if you upload more than one in a day, we'll likely unpublish it for a bit so that the community page and front EdenTube page aren't all videos from the same contributor.
