Here are some new Changes for the Description Review Program. These changes are intended to improve the overall efficiency of the Description Review Program.
01 – You must accept and complete the checkout / shipping for all Description Review items within 24 hours of being offered the assignment. If you do not, the item will be assigned to someone else.
02 – All Description Review items will now be shipped via USPS Priority.
03 – You will now have 2 weeks to submit your review after the assignment has been created.
Whenever an item is assigned for a Description Review it is either being evaluated to see if we want to begin carrying that product, or we already have this item in stock and want to include the Description Review when this item becomes available for sale; providing the customer with as much information about the product as possible. Either way, the Description Review process is incredibly important.
The changes above were made to help assign and ship the item to you faster, by insisting that all assignments be accepted and complete checkout within 24 hours. After 24 hours the assignment will be canceled and assigned to someone else. By upgrading the shipping (at no cost to the reviewer) to USPS Priority, the assignment will arrive way faster than with the regular shipping, and the entire review process can begin sooner.
When combined with priority shipping, the shorter 2 week timeframe to complete the Description Review assignment should not be a problem. In most cases, you will likely receive the DR item in 2-3 days which still leaves 10-12 days to test the item, and then write and submit your review. Together these changes could cut the whole Description Review process almost in half.
