Make sure you email me (carrieann@edenfantasy s.com) for permission to add video to your reviews. No permission, no gift card!2. Be sure when you email, if it is not obvious, that you include your screen name. I have no idea that "Jenny", with the email "spottedpuppy@gmail.co m" is actually MistressMamaPants on EF... ya know? It gets hard to keep y'all straight so, please, include your screen name somewhere. Thanks!3. If you do both monthly video review program plus regular added video reviews, please make sure you let me know which you're talking about when you ask permissions. I won't assign a product if I didn't know that's what you were asking me to do. Most times, I'll assume you're asking for permission on a product you already own.4. Don't upload videos more than once. If something is not working, email me and let me know and wait for either JR or myself to tell you if we need it reuploaded. I don't want to see anyone getting points abuse violations for errors!5. Please, please, please visit the guidelines and be sure you're doing your video titles, tags and descriptions properly. These are different than the tags and descriptions that you see on the review or product page. These are very important for the videos page on EdenTube where they are hosted. It makes JR cranky when he has to continually fix them so if you're not sure what the right way is, message him! He'll be happy to tell you. I've never done video reviews before but wanted to ask you something after reading this....

You mention in section #3 about a monthly video review program? I haven't heard of this, or seen any information on it. Is there a link that explains this? Or could you tell me more about it? I had always just assumed that videos were done as a "regular added video reviews".

I eventually would like to give video reviewing a try so I'm just exploring my options! Thanks! less

Just a heads-up, it's really hard to get the video submission form to accept related pages - I've had to skip adding pages to that section because of this. So if anyone's having problems with it, it's not just you!

I had this problem in the past, so let me ask a question that may seem obvious - are you trying to add more than 1 link at a time in the little box? I used to try to add all my links in there at once, and it would never accept them. Then I figured out that you put 1 link in there, click "associate" (or whatever the button says) and it takes it. Don't try to format the link, or include the text - just put the plain old link. Then if you want to associate more, insert 1 more link into the box, click "associate" and so on.

It automatically turns the link into the little text words, you don't have to do any of that. I hope this helps, if not, maybe you're having a different problem than what I had in the beginning. less

You can only associate with the product page and review page, for the most part. You can't do it to EdenLink profiles or other people's profiles or the main page or Presents pages. If you've been trying anything other than your own review or the product page, that would be why it does't work less

It might technically "work" - in that it'll go through without hanging you up -- but I"m not actually seeing any contributor videos on company pages on Eden Link.

Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong ones?

Also, videos are automatically placed on your personal profile, even if you don't add the link in the associated pages area. They automatically go to your profile, your review (if you upload from the review page or review area of your dashboard) and to the community page. less
