No major updates in the video review program lately but we have had a few minor ones and a few reminders for y'all.
Update
The points payment structure on video reviews has once again changed slightly. The new points payment structure is as follows:
Regular video reviews: $25
Regular video reviews -- products under $15.99, lubes, lotions, lingerie, lip balms, towels, etc: $15
Adult video reviews: $50
Adult video reviews -- products under 15.99, lubes, lotions, lingerie, lip balms, towels, etc: $30
Not all videos will be approved on items like lip balm, towels, etc. Approval is always at our discretion and is based upon various parameters.
Notes
Nothing major, just a few reminders:
1. Don't email for payment on your videos until the video is live. If it is still processing there is no way for me to check it or even be sure it's going to properly submit so, please, hold off and submit only live links!
2. Tags. When tagging your videos, keep it simple. We've been sending more back to y'all to be fixed and will continue to do so. Keep in mind that the main tags you want are a) who made it b) what it's for c) what it's made of d) what it is and e) special, noteworthy features. So leave out tags like bows, veins, bumps and dry clean only. You can use those words in your descriptions! Use tags like Tantus, Anal, Silicone, Plug, Realistic or California Exotic Novelties (notice the full name here. no abbreviations!), Clitoral Stimulator, Jelly, Vibrator, Multi-speed.
See what I mean? Simple and to the point. If you have any questions, feel free to ask JR or me; we're always happy to help!
3. We've been having some glitches with uploads lately. We're aware of it and, if you're having troubles, we ask that you please let us know but be patient. Do not try to upload the same file multiple times as that just jams things up more. Shoot either JR or myself an email and we'll get back to you with an answer as to what the problem is and what you should do as soon as we can. Sometimes the issue is on our end and the solution is to simply wait it out. Sometimes we can talk you through an issue on your end and resolve it right away.
4. When uploading video reviews, please use the category Review. I know it is tempting to use Demo, Educational, Instructional and How-to but those are for different types of videos, not just standard reviews.
5. Are you guys aware of the Video Review Content Requirements? If not, please take a look at them. Our goal is to get all videos following these basic guidelines for format and standardization so you might want to start making sure you are now, before we begin cracking down.
6. Use EMAIL, not private messages, when contacting JR and I. We need to be able to share info and have all the info in one place so we can be efficient. My email is carrieann@edenfantasys .com and JR is almon@edenfantasys.com . Thank you!
I think that's all I have for you guys right now. Any questions? Ask away!
