Hello all my lovely video reviewers,
Video Review Guidelines have been updated! We have trimmed them down a bit to make for easier readability and have added Video Review Content Requirements as well as Video Review Upload Guidelines. Please be sure to take a moment to review all of this information.
I'm sure many of you have noticed that we've been asking more often for quality issues to be fixed -- and for tags, titles and descriptions to adhere to requirements. We'll be doing this even more in the future so, please, be up to date on what those requirements are. More changes are coming and it'll get confusing fast if you don't keep up with each step.
The main change I'd like to highlight right now is in the Video Review Content Requirements. We are working hard to make sure our videos all have a certain standard; a standard of quality and a standard of information. Please be sure you've hit all the points listed in these requirements and make an extra effort to leave out things like large ingredient lists or repetitive sizing and material information. We want videos to be a visual display of things that are difficult to show in a written review, not a repeat of the same information. Covering the basic stats and ingredients is fine but BE BRIEF.
JR and I will be contacting people to fix things up or redo videos if they are too far removed from the guidelines and requirements -- and those who are constantly needing to be reminded or required to redo will eventually have videos declined all together so, again, please be aware of the changes and make sure you begin to implement them if you need to.
Feel free to email either JR or myself with any questions, as always. Or ask them here! We always, always want to keep the lines of communication open and be sure y'all understand any changes so if you don't get it...ask!
Peace, love, sex toys and coffee,
Carrie Ann
