#AskEden - Pricing for Review Assignment Requests

Contributor: AskEden AskEden
Hello all!

I wanted to pass along some information about requesting products for review. If a product goes on sale, it is still considered to be at the list price when it comes to requesting it for review.

Example:
The Dai-Do #6 is on sale (as of the date of this posting). The sale price is $47.99. The original price is $79.00. To request this for a review, you'd need to do a special request because the price is over $75.

For more information please refer to the Pricing guidelines.

I'm still confused! How do you go about doing a "special request"? Who do you contact?

I think you typically email either JR or Gary with your request.

What about buyout assignments? Would it be 30% off the list price or sale price?

Buy out discounts come off the list price. Sales and discount prices do not "stack" or add together.

This is good to know. I've never tried to request anything out of my price range when it's been on sale but I've always wondered. Thanks AskEden!

I wondered how that worked. I've had things that the list price was out of range but they showed up on my query because of the sale price. Good to know!

How is it confusing?

If a product is on sale, the original price is what counts for the rank price cap.

Let me know if I can help if you're confused!
