I just published my first students' first review and all I can say is WOW. Silverdrop was already an advanced reviewer - but it was so much fun to go back and forth on a review and discuss things about it and then to finally hit the "publish" button. I had tears of joy in my eyes - I'm so proud of her and the review.

Anyone else feel that way when you help a student?

There's nothing better than being able to help someone else out! I was nervous about doing the mentor program but have really enjoyed it. I've always loved helping people and it's great when you finally publish a review that you've worked hard on together.

She sure did do an awesome job as always!

I have to say, I have yet to be able to know that great feeling TEARS! lol.

I've only been a mentor for days now and I was so damn excited when I saw a student requested me. I mean as sad as it may be, it made my day! I felt good about myself and I rush to get back to this student and bam. She cancelled just as quickly as she'd requested me. MORE TEARS! Lol.

I worried myself about that for a couple of days then saw where the same person had done this to 3 more mentors so I figured it was her way of getting points, not anything personal. Still though! I was almost proud! lOL

Kendra, when I posted my first review, Lexical messaged me to tell me about the mentor program and offer to mentor me. I don't know how comfortable you would be doing that with newcomers, but everything was so confusing when I first joined, I found it a great relief not to have to go through that huge (and very intimidating!) list of potential reviewers and try to figure out how to choose.
