I am still kinda new to this site and I really like the idea of writing reviews. But I don't really have any experience doing it. I have wrote 2 reviews since I have been here. I am now an advance reviewer but I wanted a mentor so I could make sure I am writing good reviews. I have requested 2 mentors but neither have responded. How many at one time should I request? And if they don't respond does that mean they didn't want me as a student?
Question for mentors

You can make up to five requests at a time, but you should only request classes with mentors that actually intrigue you; if you don't care for the mentor, you probably won't care for their teaching style.
If they don't respond, it may mean that they simply haven't had time to come online and respond to your request since you submitted it. I don't know when you submitted your request, but I'd give them up to a week to reply before canceling the requests.
Although may of us (both EFers and mentors) are online daily, people may be on vacation, or may have another reason they've not replied yet.
