The mentor program is something that makes Eden Fantasy's unique. I'm just wondering what others thought of the experience! I for one think it's an awesome program. It invites people to be more social in the community, teaches you how to write better reviews, and encourages more activity!
How useful was the mentor program to you? (For students!)

I had a wonderful mentor - ~LaUr3n~. She's a great editor and gives terrific constructive criticism. I really enjoyed working with her!

The mentor program helped me so much. My menter Splendwhore was amazing and very helpful

I had ~LaUr3n~ too and she just helped me think of things that I would omit.

By the time I started the mentor program, I had already written a few reviews that were useful or extremely useful.
So, it wasn't a lot of learnin' but it helped some.

~LaUr3n~ was/is also my mentor. It's a pretty interesting program, very unique.

I worked with Lexical and I would say it was definitely helpful. I was new to EF and I didnt really know what was expected in a review. I figured going through a mentor program was a logical way to get to know Eden Fantasies and write strong reviews. I wrote my very first review on my own then the next two were done with my mentor. Without her I think it would have taken me a lot longer to get where I am now.

While I've been a part of the EF community for a lot longer than most students in the mentor program, I wasn't able to be active in the community for a while due to personal issues. Once I saw the program was available, I knew I wanted to be a part of it to hone my skills and become the best reviewer I can be. I knew immediately I wanted ~LaUr3n~ to be my mentor, and after having my first review in class published, I knew it was a great decision. So far it has been very helpful and I think I've written my best review yet in this program.

I had some trouble during mine. My mentor was great, but Eden was going wonky at the time so I didn't have the best experience. Other than that, it was great! My mentor helped me a lot, explained everything I needed to know, and it helped make my reviews a lot better.

Eden has a great community that I enjoy being a part of. I really do think that I've gotten to interact with the most awesome people here.

Yay for usefulness! I'm glad to see so many of you have benefited from the Mentor Program. We should toast to both the mentors and their students! Well done all around!

Maybe I just had a fantastic mentor (Alicia) but I learned a lot and learned it quickly, too. I went from brand new to graduating in less then a month! I honestly can't wait to become a mentor so that I can help someone he same way Alicia helped me!

I have enjoyed both my mentors thus far, SydVicious and Hearthrob. It's not that I didn't learn anything, but to me it is more about improving my approach and writing method. They have helped me with it so far! And Syd helped me get the hang of the video reviews Now it's on to the next class! ToriRebel, here I come

I loved my mentor VieuxCarre. She's an awesome person and really helped me improve my writing. I'd like to take another class soon, with a reviewer I have my eye on, to try and improve my reviews' ratings. Sadly she's not taking new students right now.

I also had her. She's concise and kind. She pointed out such little things that I don't think I would've seen but now I look out for!

Plus I am able to expand my repertoire of things for review, because having a mentor who is more experienced in a certain thing helps me to cover all the different things.
I am a vibrator/dildo expert by now, lol, I just need to work on non phallic products!

Wow guys and gals- B8terDude, PassionQT, Illusional, Miss Naughty Kitty! Thanks SOOOO much for all the student love! You guys made my week!
I actually voted in this and I'll explain why. I voted that it was ext. useful. By closely working with others and reading different types of reviews it opened my eyes to other ways of writing reviews. Not only did I learn about products that I don't normally review, I learned a lot about what the process is like for a new comer. Plus I learned a lot about my students and met some awesome people!

Thanks You are a great mentor as well. I love how you go through section by section and help me improve that way. This is a really neat program, and you are indeed a wonderful mentor I love all the mentors I have had so far!

I have been wondering though, is there a limit to this program? Or can we just continue to go through mentors? I know I am getting better, but I like to have different people help me out with different things. Also I like to get to know them more- but I don't want to be taking away from someone who might need it more than me?

I do not believe there is a limit to how many classes you can take
There are over 40 mentors now so plenty to go around. You aren't be greedy and I admire your quest to improve as much as you can. Hell I'm thinking of taking one eventually!
