I just got my first student, and I was looking around at the class management thing, and everything else, and I didn't find anything that said to graduate them. Does it not show up until after they do a few reviews, or am I just missing it?
How do you graduate a student?

It shows up after they've sent in their 2nd review to you.

It does not show up until the student has written two reviews. Then you have the option to graduate a student or keep them for a while longer.

Ahhh... okay. That is kind of what I figured, but I didn't want to have to ask this question later, when they were waiting to be graduated... lol. Thanks!

They answered your question, so I'm going to tell you congrats on your first student.

Yep, they answered it quite well. Thank you Peggi and Woman China.
Congrats on your first student!

Not to be rude, but it probably would've been best to know these things before you applied for mentor? Maybe they haven't been eligible to graduate. DO you know how the mentoring works? I would assume the student is not able to graduate because they have not met their number (2) of reviews to be eligible and still, you shouldn't always graduate a student just because they are eligible. If that huge "graduate" or "student didn't pass" boxes aren't there, then they are not eligible yet. And if you didn't know that they have to have 2 to even be eligible, I'd definitely recommend taking a step back and getting everything down pat before taking on more students.

Anyways, when you go to "students" you should be able to click on "manage class" right out beside the student's name. Then you'll be given the option to graduate or fail if they have met the required number of reviews, which is definitely at least 2. In my opinion, two is rarely enough for a student to go on by themselves though.
Check there and then let us know. Someone else may have better advice.

I was fully aware of the fact that they had to do two reviews. I was just trying to be prepared, thank you. I just didn't want my student to be ready to graduate and be able to pick a product to review for the first time, while I'm sitting there going 'I don't know how to officially graduate you in the system... can you wait a few days until I get an answer on that?'

I've gone through the mentor program several times myself. I know how it works. I just wanted to make sure I knew what was going on with the user interface before I held someone else up after they did the hard work of going through the class. I like to be prepared.
