I have been looking for a mentor to better my reviewing skills. I have looked through the available mentors and found a few that I thought I had similar interests with and that could help me in improving my skills. Does anyone have any ideas on how to choose a mentor that's right for me? Or how to let a mentor know that I want to be critiqued and pushed to my full potential? I really want to start writing quality reviews and need some help!

I think it's usually best to PM the person you're interested in first. Let them know what you're looking to learn from them and why you think you guys would be a good fit.
As for finding someone, make sure to read through their reviews. Find someone that has a style you like and that you find writes very useful reviews.
Similar interests are also important. If you want to review dildos, getting a mentor that has a specialty with beauty products probably won't yield the best results.
Good luck!

This exactly! Message the mentor that you are most interested in. Talk to them and see if you still are interested. If not, keep looking. Getting a long with your mentor and building a relationship helps when you are looking to learn from them.

And the great thing about the mentor program, if you feel after doing your research that you didn't learn the most you could from the mentor you had, you can go through the program again with someone else once you've graduated from their class. The mentor program isn't a one-time shot. You can go through it as many times as you'd like!

Agree! It's hard tell if you jive with someone from that teeny paragraph! Send a Pm, have a chat and see how you feel. I think we all have something to give, so go through the program a bunch if you like.
