First-time poster here! I'm really interested in joining a class as a student...I used to do reviews on Eden and am pretty rusty, so I wanted to go through the program again to get back into the groove of writing reviews and pick up some new ideas and tips. Is anyone actively recruiting students? It seems like everyone's busy.
Any Mentors Accepting New Students?

I don't see you in my mentor list...is there a way for me to send you a request? I'd like to go through the official channels, if possible...I checked out your profile, and I'd love to have you as my mentor!

I was one of the first mentors when the program was released years ago, and I just noticed that it was closed and then reopened last year. So we will see. It's a shame because my data of all of the people I mentored has been erased (or I cannot find it, at least). If you are unable to wait until they approve/deny me, then I understand.

I've sent out a few mentor requests a couple of days ago, but no responses--I'm not in any hurry. I won't even have anything to review for 4-5 days or so, anyway.

Sir, our data has been erased as far as I can tell because I couldn't find my list of students either. I also reapplied for the program.

I thought it was very strange that there were only 6 mentors on the website! (Only 2 of which are listed as available)

You can PM Obscura. She's taken on the review program, among other tasks. I think she's working w/ the Mentor Program, too.

I'm still interested in mentoring, if it's open to new mentors.

I wondered about that & asked a friend why she wanted a mentor. She said she chose a particular mentor w/ a different reviewing style so she could learn from them. Another time before that was just so she could sharpen her writing skills - grammar, punctuation, sentence construction, using logic, etc. And another time she wanted to specialize more in a particular area & chose a mentor w/ a focus in that area.
For me? When I came to EF, I struggled so much w/ the ins & outs of reviewing here PLUS navigating the site. I was so very fortunate to get one of the best mentors & reviewers & learned soooooo much from her. She's made all the difference in my EF experience.
So there are lots of reasons to make the most of having & learning from more than one mentor no matter how long one has been reviewing.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. I'm confident in my abilities to write well, I really just want practice in content--sometimes I don't always consider everything that should be included, because maybe it's something I don't think is important. Having someone else to say "What about ___?" is really what I'm looking for.

And light some fires ! You won't believe how many times we have read some reviews and gained interest in that item. One time we almost bought the "Eleven"
Now, there's an item that will fit in the " Have you ever bought an item only to hear her/him say, " It's too big ! "
I was one click from purchasing that !
